12:00 PM - 1:45 PM

Ivy Tech Community College

Carver Community Center Pathfinders Program:

If any EDG Members would like to volunteer to participate, we could certainly use about 10 volunteers for Saturday, March 3 from around Noon to 1:45PM at Ivy Tech Community College.

The students were given the design challenge of making something out of round or square coasters. The goal was for them to think beyond just screen printing graphics on the coaster, but this might end up being the outcome.

Volunteers will be needed to work one-on-one with the students to help them produce their artwork for screen printing. This might entail following the guidance of the students while you “drive” the creation of the imagery with the software or allowing the student to “drive” while you help them with the software. We believe a one-on-one approach at this point will be the most effective.

We want to encourage the students to create their own imagery, but certainly online images could be used. We would also like for the images to relate to the final objective for the coaster application, but, again, having the printing images on a coaster blank might be the final outcome.

Please RSVP below or send an email to info@evansvilledesign.org to let us know if you are interested in participating in this unique event!
