The University of Southern Indiana invites applications for the position of Marketing, Event, and Web Coordinator for the College of Liberal Arts. This position is responsible for development, delivery and analysis of the college’s recruitment, retention and public relations efforts. The position produces marketing materials, utilizes social media, coordinates events and makes marketing calls to establish and maintain relationships with friends, alumni and students.
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or graphic design required. Minimum two years’ experience in marketing or communications preferred. Candidates should be excellent communicators with strong oral presentation and writing skills and able to work independently to meet goals and deadlines. Knowledge of computer applications required; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, iMovie and other graphic programs desired. Experience with email marketing tools, web content management systems and publication production preferred.
