From "Veronica Mars" to Rebecca take a look back at the career of Armie Hammer on and off the screen. Revolves around the true story of a fateful night in August 1985 when five members of the same family are murdered at an Essex farmhouse, and the ensuing police investigation and court case that follows. It made me cut my rating. Definitely worth your time. This is superb television drama. A note "based on true events" or the like is often a sign of interest for me - then the story does get out of hand, and some aridity at the expense of realism is permissible. When High School student, Luther Scott, confesses to Father Michael Kelly, Kelly is bound silent to the particulars of a grisly murder. I googled it but the only petition is closed and it was in 2012.I didn't notice the shaky camera effect that everyone else is going on about. Its not poor camera work, its clearly deliberate and also somewhat immature.
In this case the show was so good I hadn't even realized that hand-held were used until I read the horde of crabby reviews that all focussed on that.
Note to the producers,,, We are not supposed to feel the camera as it is not a camera show but a detective story. Only watched 3 episodes so far. Police investigate when the body of a girl is found in a lake. i thought it was a comedy when i came into the room and saw the sheer amount of zoom ins, it's filmed exactly like the office. As for crime series, it is a plus if I am unaware of tenor and outcomes - then it is catchier to follow. Fulcher was used as a scapegoat by a bunch of shortsighted, politically corrupt morons kowtowing to archaic and ineffective guidelines. A Confession premiered on BritBox Tuesday, May 12. I could not finish the first episode. The camerawork was giving us both a bad head. Another good series ruined by bad filming, what a waste. A confession is a gritty six part drama, telling the real life crimes of Christopher Halliwell, the murders of Sian and Becky. | Don't let the camera reviews put you off. Title: As the family desperately waits for news, the police search for any clues to where she could be. I wish I could continue watching this series, this is my cup of tea and such great actors.... but the camera work made me seasick. I hope the judge and those policemen are finally held accountable for what they did.Excellent cast and a good show overall.

This is a brilliant drama, probably because sadly it's true. Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends.

I have decided to write this review to contradict many of the current other reviews that are negative despite the fact that, as of this time, no other regular TV watcher that has reviewed the show - has also seen the whole story unfolds - because it has not been completely aired yet.

A young girl disappears, nobody can understand where she is, the assumption is that someone has her.Based on a tragic real life crime, as I review, I will base my review on the drama production, as opposed to the tragic case and real life impacts on those involved.A terrific cast assembled, led by Martin Freeman, supported by the likes of Siobhan Finneran and Imelda Staunton.The acting is great, the storytelling is good, fortunately it feels as if it hasn't been over dramatised. It seems like they are all incompetents. I am actually enjoying this show so far. Sian O'Callaghan goes missing after a Friday night out in Swindon Old Town. The storyline is captivating and the cast of talented actors is brilliant, the camera work slides into the background. Fulcher's career is on the line as he faces an IPCC disciplinary hearing.
