hell house llc 2 ending explained

My husband really liked it which is odd. Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel is available now on Shudder. There was nothing original in it and it didn't seem very inspired by the first film. They released a directors cut on DVD with additional footage from that scene. Was yelling "This isn't part of the show! Overall it was a mediocre film. The ending was terrible and the final scene was a frame by frame copy of the last movie (the interrogation room). The latter felt very half assed and very rushed. Close. Yet I still have no idea what happened. And the actors in this one were horrible. It tried to make this big reveal that I saw from a mile away. But did the spirits do anything different fromthe first movie? Although the first one is amazing. I'll add it to my re-watch list. By this point of the movie I was actually saying out loud wtf. Could not fall asleep to this one. The little girl appeared standing there.. again. This was pretty much what I had expected the first one to be (but what it wasn't) - a few good scares, but mostly super cheap, cheesy, and predictable. My favorite scene from the movie is when Mitchell gets knocked out then wakes up elsewhere. I watched the first one for the first time last night and it didn't disappoint! Something you'd like to hear my thoughts on? Directed by Stephen Cognetti. Even when the characters finally do go into the hotel it was 30 minutes of jump scares, lets split up, and "lets go exactly where we're being lead". The spirits were creepy (again, because of the first movie. Panic breaks out? Problem was, though incredibly cheesy with the news reporter scenes and then one of the last scenes around the dining table, I thought this was one of the scariest movies I have ever seen!!! The ending was cheesy with cult guys.. again. The girl who escaped didn't really escape.. again. The girl screams because he left her. He was the original owner of the hotel, and he has been manipulating everyone to get them there so his cult could kill them. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. not "He isn't part of the show!" Discussion. The five extra minutes are mostly creepy scenes that were cut for pacing issues I imagine. Wow, I feel like that's a big plot point to cut. I figured it would be boring or cheesy, well luckily it was only one of those. Really set a terrifying scene and I’ve been unable to stop thinking about it all day. Overall, I'd give the first half a 6/10, and the second half a 2/10, for a final rating of 4/10. I don't remember seeing any other bodies. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. It was a surprise, I was expecting something boring or terrible. The location was the same. As it turns out the person at the interview that we kept flashing back too wasn't the head of the town like he said. Help! Is that why panic broke out? I didn't think it was awful, but it wasn't great. What a great example of found footage done right. But the visuals kept getting worse, and then ending was just..... :( They explained everything with way too much detail, taking away any and all mystery (which didn't really matter, because it became obvious fairly early on what was happening), and you could see way too much way too easily. The first tourist video only shows people running back upstairs. Anyway, I went into this movie not expecting anything good. I had not seen the first so I immediately turned that one on afterward. Looks like you're using new Reddit on an old browser. I thought they did a good job and found the characters interesting. its low budget but scary and entertaining, what more do you want? This movie was an almost identical retelling of the first one without any of the good from it. movie with new characters. Proudly created with Wix.com. The characters were all throwaways. I decided to watch the first one, then the second one. I could be way off. It made it sound like something had happened that was out of view. Just them screaming all of a sudden. Were there more hooded people stabbing others by the exit? The extra footage shows the chained up actress dead on the ground. Camera shakes and we see hood man standing in front of the girl. Hell House LLC II is a brand new movie that came out September 20th 2018 as a Shudder exclusive. I'm always on the lookout for new horror. Hell House LLC -- a small moment that made a big impact. Now I watched the second one. Haven't been this let down by a flick in a while. Probably something with at least similar production quality as the original. As mentioned earlier it is just the first. VHS series is my holy grail. It definitely suffered from Sequel Syndrome, unfortunately. The clowns moved by themselves.. again. I watched this last night, and it was brilliant. After the movie was over I felt like I have seen this series of events before where the sequel's keep getting worse. I saw Shudder had released this so I decided to turn it on and slip into a peaceful slumber. Editing was cheesier and acting was far worse. I think the idea was to only show you a bit more while still keeping the whole event a mystery. That's part of the reason why I liked the first one so much - it was a very pleasant surprise. Hell House LLC II is a brand new movie that came out September 20th 2018 as a Shudder exclusive. The whole event with opening night is still fuzzy to me. Nothing has really happened yet beside hooded man chilling over in the corner. Thank you so much for reading and remember... © 2020 by Little Miss Creeps Horror Blog. I really enjoyed the first film. Made the first movie cast look like accomplished Oscar winners. I liked it, I guess I just didn't have as high expectations. The atmosphere of the hotel was established in the first movie, that was a given. But what Hell House LLC, now re-released under the guise of a Director’s Cut, manages to do is frame the genre’s gimmick in a generally interesting, exciting way. I watch horror to fall asleep (I know I know). The acting wasn't great, it wasn't bad either though. I figured that the ghost dudes showed up and after freaking out the two actors, the clown dude ran for his life. More shakes and a spooky face on the camera. I’m a fan of found footage films, and I’m aware there are a lot of rubbish ones. The whole event with opening night is still fuzzy to me. I think my issue was I saw the original first and it just set the bar too high for its follow up. You can tell it was CGI in the worse way possible. The movie is definitely not boring, it's just dull. I kind of wish it had been better, but it was a sequel to a not-so-great film. Posted by 2 years ago. It is basically the same plot as the first one, except this time the people doing the documentary are skeptics. There was one cool use of special effects makeup, but you only really see it for a second. Everything else in the movie was great, but the basement event was a big part of the film and the reveal was lacking and didn't answer much. For just a tiny bit inside the house. It's not without it's flaws though and I have one issue I'd like cleared up. I remember one tourist going up and asking the chained girl if she was ok, meaning the tourist saw nothing wrong at first. Also, I think they said 15 deaths, but we only know of the actors and the main Hell House creators. As I said I would talk about the big twist at the end. She is in fully dead mode. The 3 or so snippets they showed of people breaking in were nothing special and the scares were almost identical to ones from the first movie. I'm pretty sure she is a scarer for Hell House from the first movie. Click on image to go to the creator's page. Archived. R/HORROR, known as Dreadit by our subscribers is the premier horror entertainment community on Reddit. If the plot is gonna suck then the acting can at least be decent. Although the first one is amazing. For more than a decade /R/HORROR has been reddit.com's gateway to all things Horror: from movies & TV, to books & games. You see her talking on the phone to her (mom?) So all I got was hooded man was chilling, people panic for some reason, hooded man stands in front of girl, then ahhh scary face. I went into it with low expectations, which I also did with the first one. All I noticed was the chained up girl (her name escapes me, sorry.) We don't see anyone being stabbed or anything. spoiler. As flair states, this is a spoiler for the first film. As she is saying this her voice becomes deeper and demonic. Then the clown guy, not the possess one, the actor, gets up and runs. The plot was great, clever, a great twist, and above all SCARY throughout. I got super creeped out by the break-in videos, and there was some creepy audio throughout the whole thing. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I love found footage/mockumentary movies :). The ending of Mike Flanagan's series adaptation of Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix is a ghost-laden doozy. The film’s director, Stephen Cognetti, has completed this extended release, which features some additional footage, completed VFX for the grand finale and more character development. Hell House LLC. I agree that it was a bit anticlimactic, but I do understand that they wanted something a bit more subtle instead of some crazy supernatural event. It vaguely started to remind me of Grave Encounters 2 at certain points, no that is not a movie I am a fan of. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. omfg. Question after watching this : Was Melissa, the girl who was chained in the basement in part 1 in the sequel at all? Found footage is my go to genre. sorry :). In my personal opinion, not all movies need a sequel; this is one of them. There isn't much that sticks to my mind about it. The 3 or so snippets they showed of people breaking in were nothing special and the scares were almost identical to ones from the first movie. I think the movie would be better without being called a direct sequel. And WTF??? source: Cognetti Films. After that I just think they started getting spookier and the chaos escalated. 538. If you enjoyed the first movie, I'd recommend the director's cut DVD.
