The fact that Lawrence had bought a ring speaks to how deeply he loved Issa, but that Lawrence from back then was in no shape to be a husband. Though Rae is on the rise as one of Hollywood’s major comedic talents, this episode only has a few outright funny moments, so it may be too subtle for voters compared to other laugh-out-loud performances in her category.
She’s so confident and assured as she does all this and you can tell our boy really likes it! With 10 episodes, this is Insecure’s longest season ever.
