It’s a great game. As of late, the series has been on somewhat stagnant as Project DIVA Future Tone really lacked any sort of single-player campaign due to its roots as a port of an arcade title. A really great game. It’s easy to get so caught up on life that we forget why we do the things we do. While mostly cosmetic, wearing recommended outfits for songs can earn more VP and just tend to make the music videos that play in the background that much more enjoyable when the outfit matches each scenario.
To me, it means rating a rhythm game explicitly based on the merit of its specified genre; and that’s why I think Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix is worthy of a 5 out of 5 rating.
