Are these places inspected by anyone? This unit is located 1 door from the elevator. The laundry room was caked with dust - as in inches of it. But SugarTop has all the class of a high-rise trailer park.
The staff driving were great, but it was an inconvenience every time we wanted to come and go. Practice social distancing, bring face coverings and sanitizer to protect yourself and others. Loved the view and spacious condo. Much cooler in the mountains than on the coast where we are from. Our luxury condo community, located atop Sugar Mountain, offers premium on-site amenities. we had a great relaxing week! Social distancing is required and the exercise room can be used by a total of 2 people at a time. This is a time of new experiences and behaviors for all of us. The unit we stayed in was clean, well-equipped for all our needs, the employees were very accommodating and hospitable, such a joy to be around them while they were performing their duties. I rented this unit specifically because it had a washer/dryer. 24-hour gated security, a cozy lobby area, staffed front desk, parking shuttle and amenities like nothing else on the mountain. Sugar Top has a shuttle system if you’re unable to park in the main lot during the busy seasons. :). A lot of the track lighting had burned out bulbs I couldn't reach. A full kitchen, complimentary Wi-Fi and washer/dryer will be available to you inside the condo.
The pool and hot tub are great. Blue hues and accents give this condo an elegant touch. The carpet install was incomplete so that when you walked from the bedroom carpet to the bathroom tile, you walked across carpet tacks -- real pleasant in the middle of the night. Please be advised that the parking shuttle is run by SugarTop. Only complaint was having to ride a van back and forth to our was a bit of a hassle. The plywood valance in the MBR was ripped off the wall and parked in a corner of the MBR. But the views made it worth it! Rent a whole home for your next weekend or holiday.

The condo needs a little work - carpet tacks got me every time I walked to/from master bath & mold under the faucet in both tubs. Sugar Top- All amenities are now OPEN! The drain for the shower/tub in the MBR was so clogged that I couldn't use it. And the van drivers rarely wore face masks. Our small community has extremely limited resources for these things and finding basics has been a struggle the past couple of months. Are there are standards that owners need to adhere to? Masks are required in public areas. Our family is your family when you stay with Resort Real Estate & Rentals at Sugar Mountain. Our SugarTop Condos are Non-smoking. I rented it for a month and after a few weeks, couldn't stand it anymore and left. I knew nothing about the mandatory shuttle system to the remote parking lots - which got old in a real hurry. Great condo with beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain. The shuttle is a bit inconvenient, especially if you are back and forth to the condo a lot, but it does run constantly and we never had to wait more than a few minutes.
