The story reimagines what would have happened had the Sword of Power chosen the Lady of the Lake, Nimue, as a Queen of the Fey people, instead of picking Arthur to be King of Men. Perhaps it was because I was already sleepy when I read this, but it wasn't as exciting as I expected...Still, I'm looking forward to its sequels. it's like every single other YA book i've ever read plus marvel.

But for fans of Nimue, Arthur, Merlin, and all the rest, it sounds like there will at least be more Cursed to come in bookstores.

I hate rating these kind of books because there's not enough content to go on. You can definitely see how far she’s come from how she is in the first chapter and who she becomes by the last.
Other than a few details â like The Red Spear's real name being Guinevere â it keeps pretty faithful to the page. First off I have to warn readers perhaps like myself who were unaware when they started reading Cursed that it is in fact a short novella and when I say short it took me around fifteen/twenty minutes max to read.
