Lu clashes with a man who comes to Rittenhouse to make a fundraising film and treats a young girl who got E-Coli from an undercooked burger; the girlfriend of Nick's sister is diagnosed with lupus; Andy treats a woman who was sterilized without her consent. Lu's past comes back to haunt her after her rapist, Dr. Kilner is brought to the emergency room with heart issues. Strong Medicine is an excellent show that deserves to be on DVD.

I've found some websites which offers all seasons but not sure of the quality.
As soon as it arrived, I watched the entire season (I was up for a while). All the cases feels very real and the solutions very plausible. When I found Season 1 on Amazon, I had to buy it. The actors were believable and the show was just so amazing. When the two women are paired up to run the Rittenhouse Women's Health Center, they must learn to work together even with their respective approaches clearly on opposite sides of the operating table. Lending their vision are executive producers Tammy Ader and Whoopi Goldberg, who also plays a prominent role in the Pilot episode as Dr. Lydia Emerson, a women's health pioneer who returns in three additional stories.
A very, very good show.
I loved this show!!!! Lu is held responsible after a patient of Andy's dies under suspicious circumstances; Andy clashes with Jesse after she lies to her about her whereabouts. There are NO OTHER seasons available on DVD or anywhere else to watch for that matter! The actors were believable and the show was just so amazing.

Since this was released in 2006 or 2008, I doubt they are putting the rest out on DVD, but I wish they would so I could follow the series for 5 more seasons.
Love this show. I'm so happy there is a season on DVD, but where are the rest of them?? It is also a really cool drama that will open your eyes to diseases and other health related issues in a way that ER will not.
Complex medical questions are explored from several perspectives without succumbing to quick resolutions. I finished the season in 3 days!
Blasi and Turner develop a compelling rapportalternatively appreciating and opposing each otherwhile a supporting cast adds depth in standout performances by Josh Coxx (as nurse/midwife Peter Riggs) and Jenifer Lewis (as receptionist Lana Hawkins). Andy and Dr. Morton work together to treat a woman with an enlarged heart; Lu searches for a bone marrow donor for a young girl with leukemia; Nick and Lana search for a woman whose health is at risk. Arrived on time, would recommend it! Andy and Lu's patients both show signs of being poisoned.
