For anyone who didn't exactly understand, this is what I got out of it.
and to receive email from Rotten Tomatoes and Fandango. Honestly: the CGI and costumes were not bad (think 'Big Trouble in Little China' but better), the acting is classic A-Movie horror (Poltergeist), "gore" is not the focus of the movie, but is used effectively, and the story, while understandably a bit confusing, had good pacing and impact.
Unimpressed by the progress - or lack thereof - the hospital is making, Sarah's father, Ben, has been considering pulling her out of treatment to pursue other options, a decision he acts upon shortly after the scanning machine being used to map Sarah's brain shorts out and catches fire while his daughter is still in it. If you WANT to ask unnecessary questions that will never be answered, then maybe "Dark Floors" is for you. Full of evil and everything from ghost, ghouls and zombies.

With the contrast between the different types of material in the cabinets and countertops, any kitchen can be transformed with a deep wooden color in the floors.
In the end of the movie, when everyone but the girl has died, it starts from the beginning, with just small difference. The logic issues are nothing beyond what you see in any number of films, the major ones basically coming down to cooked up obstructions to force the characters to stop on each floor rather than descending directly, and the dialog issues are more than overcome by an immensely likable cast. You're almost there! With the flooring selection comes painting color selection to coordinate.
It seems they had an acceptable budget, the effects were not bad at all, although it did remind me at points of silent hill...it was something in its own (I don't think they were really trying to rip it off).

Dark floors: Some people love them, some people hate them. Once again we Finns have made it: we tried to reach a star but eventually found ourselves lying in a deep ditch. No, obviously not, but it is a movie worth checking out. While the script was lame in places, on the whole it was acceptable and the acting was pretty solid all-round (as in not obviously awful!). I had heard it was a pretty decent movie, but I found it more than that.
It is definitely reminiscent of, and rivals, Silent Hill. Coretec Plus. And that's what makes the movie good. Coming Soon.
"Dark Floors" is a bizarre and weird trip to a disturbed mind of an autistic girl.
If looking for a flooring to cover high foot traffic places, the Plus line should be one of your top considerations.
'Dark Floors' manages to keep up the supsense for a good 90 minutes and close with a powerful, art-film ending. Don’t worry, it won’t take long.

Boy, was I wrong. Call Girl of Cthulhu (2014) … Whores & the End of the World, Anything Horror Scott’s Favorite Crazy Mothers. They must be handled by capable filmmakers, and they must either be entertaining, scary, or beautiful. When compared to some other movies born from the imagination of a musician, "DF" rates much higher than most. There's a problem loading this menu right now. The only thing that messes the movie it's the Lordi , and if they would have created better monsers(13 Ghosts would be an example), with no rock band connection , this movie would have been much more appreciated. has no story, but that, is what makes the movie great. He decides to leave the hospital with Sarah, while the nurse Emily (Dominique McElligott) tries to convince him to leave Sarah for further treatment. Lordi's costumes never really were scary to begin with (except maybe to traditional Eurovision fans) and, in combination with a story more reminiscent to Asian ghost-horror, they just look downright pathetic and misfit.

The immense budget ("Dark Floors" supposedly is the most expensive Finnish film ever) definitely assures greatly macabre set pieces and impressive make-up art, but what's the point where there's no story that is worth telling? Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features.
This isn’t a great movie, but one I enjoyed watching enough that I purchased it.

Regal When the elevator's doors opens, they will enter a whole different time dimension, where the time has jumped for many years forwards, but doesn't go any further. But perfect or not it is an awful lot of fun. 2.5/10
The plot moves along as the director probably thought it should, although it's all build-up until the climax. Lots of sound and fury, signifying nothing. This just seems to be one of those "i like that movie so I'm gonna re-make it in my own really bad version" kinda movie.. Oh and one more thing... Lordi.. in a horror movie... thats like trying to scare a kid with a care bear who has "hug me and i will love you forever" written on the stomach of it.. I don't know if the Lordi monsters are part of some Finnish legend, if so then the movie would make more sense if I actually knew the legend.
Lordi was a major hype and revelation in 2007 because they won the Eurovision Song Contest with a (not-so-heavy) metal song called "Hard Rock Hallelujah" and appeared on stage dressed like hideous monsters. The creature work on the band is very strong - they all look fantastic on the big screen - and by keeping their appearances brief and to the point they fuel the drama between the human characters and the film is very much stronger for taking this approach.
But Dark Floors takes the "what is this movie about?"
Part of the Ghost House Underground Collection and its over the top/ The make up is what one wants when watching horror. The movie's creepy parts aren't on the monsters, it's what they have left behind. We begin in a nameless hospital in a nameless town somewhere, I presume, in the USA. What they'll soon discover are unthinkable ghouls and demons patrolling the hospital, floor to floor with fewer places to run and hide, as individuals fall prey to the supernatural stalkers. The Dark Floors is in the genre of Silent Hill, The Botched, and even for a certain extent The Langoliers (Made for TV). Pretty good... not Hollywood horror trash. I'm sorry, I just can't take the Lordi monsters seriously. Don't have an account? I'm not sure quite why I clicked "contains spoiler", because quite honestly there is not enough explanation ever given in the movie to know enough of what is supposed to be going on to spoil it. And now I'm rather glad I did. thing to a whole new (annoying) level. My friend got some tickets for free and I wasn't going to pass. Yes, there were a handful of clever ideas but on the whole it just wasn't very good.

But Im not that bright...but neither was this film.I gave it 2 stars because it brung back memories of GWAR! Its Adura Max line of flooring enjoys reviews that are mostly favorable.
